Legislative Priorities 2018

Legislative Priorities 2018 – Residential Rentals Industry

For the Legislative Session of 2018, the Iowa Landlord Association & IaREIA are working to advance the listed legislation during the 87th IA General Assembly – Session 2. Each needs to be passed three times before it advances beyond the chamber where the bill originated. The overall process is slow for good reason — the General Assembly prefers to enact laws which are fair and balanced and will be signed into law by the Governor, then not looked at again for 10-20 years!
